You can manage the server’s network settings in the Network tab.
You can add, transfer and remove servers from private networks.
To add the server to a private network:
Go to Cloud servers and click on the server.
In the Network tab, click Configure next to Private network.
Select an existing network or the Add network option to create a new one.
Click Transfer.
Moving the server to another network will take some time; normally, moving 10 GB takes about one minute.
During the transfer, the server will be on and then rebooted when the transfer is complete. Total downtime will be 5-10 minutes.
The server’s public IP address may be changed.
To remove the server from the private network:
Go to Cloud servers and click on the server.
In the Network tab, click Configure next to Private network.
Click Exclude from private network and confirm.
If the server is added to a VPC, you can manage the traffic routing rules.
Go to Cloud servers and click on the server.
In the Network tab, click Configure next to Traffic routing rules (NAT).
Select a new routing rule and save the changes.
To configure a PTR record (reverse zone) for a server:
Go to Cloud servers and click on the server.
In the Network tab, hover over the IP address and click on the gear icon.
Enter a domain name as the PTR record value and click Save.
