S3 Object Storage

Updated on 28 October 2024

The S3 storage is a versatile object storage compatible with the Amazon S3 API, capable of storing any type of static data. The data will be stored in one location and a unified format, and you can access it anytime via the API or graphical interface.

Hostman storage offers:

  • Ease of Use. You can work with the storage using a variety of tools: API, CLI, Cyberduck, Java SDK, and Python SDK.

  • Triple Data Replication. Your data is stored in multiple copies to eliminate the risk of loss.

  • Transparent Costs. You pay only a fixed rate for the selected plan, with no additional charges for traffic.

Storage Usage Examples

  • Backup Storage. Save backup copies of your data for unforeseen circumstances. You can set up regular data copies and quickly restore data at any time.

  • Storage of Static and Media Files. Offload your server drives, leaving only dynamic data that is difficult or impossible to store in the cloud. All static content can be moved to storage, significantly reducing load on your resources.

  • Storage of Archives, Logs, and Records. Place archives with outdated information, databases, request history, financial reports, and any other data requiring long-term storage but no constant access in the S3 storage.

  • Static Website Hosting. With the ability to access storage files via HTTP and HTTPS, you can host static websites. This saves server space and reduces infrastructure costs.

Storage Limits

There is only one limitation—on the amount of occupied space, which depends on the selected plan for each bucket. No other parameters (number of buckets, traffic volume, number of requests, etc.) are restricted or billed. You pay only the monthly fixed cost of each bucket according to the chosen plan.
