You can add your existing domains to Hostman, configure them to work with Hostman services and manage DNS records for the domains hosted on the Hostman nameservers.
To add a domain to your Hostman dashboard:
For your domain to work with Hostman, you need to configure its DNS records: change the nameserves or the A record.
To do it either, you will need to log in to your domain provider account. If you are not sure who your provider is, you can check it here.
To point your domain to a specific Hostman service, you can set the service's IP address as your domain's A record.
It is a quick and easy way to make your domain work with Hostman.
Propagation will take from 15 minutes to 3 hours.
The domain will work with the Hostman service, however you will still have to manage the domain’s DNS records in your domain provider account.
Another way to point your domain to Hostman is by changing the nameservers it is hosted on.
Once your domain is pointed to Hostman nameservers, you will be able manage the DNS records in your Hostman account.
However, propagation in this case may take up to 24 hours, during which time your domain will be unavailable.
