Billing

Updated on 17 April 2024

You can manage service payments, check your current balance, view subscription fees, and track account transactions in the Billing section.

Payment Model

Hostman uses a pay-as-you-go payment model and hourly billing.

All cloud services on your account, such as Cloud servers, Images, Databases, App Platform etc. are billed hourly and charged to the account balance daily.

All services created on the account are billed, even if they're stopped and not in use. To stop charges for a service, you need to delete it from your Hostman account.

Topping Up the Balance

You can top up your Hostman account balance using your bank card.

  1. Go to the Billing Payment section.
  2. Select your preferred currency and enter the payment amount.
  3. If you want to save your credit card for automatic balance top-ups, leave the Link your card checkbox selected. With a saved card, the balance is topped up automatically a week before your account runs out of funds.
  4. Click Make a payment with Stripe.
  5. On the Stripe payment page, enter your card details and complete the payment.

For clarity, all services in the account are grouped by projects. This makes it possible to evaluate the budget of each project separately.

Data Deletion Due to Insufficient Balance

If your account balance is insufficient, your services will be stopped. You have 7 days to top up your balance and restore them.

If the balance is not topped up within this period, all services will be permanently deleted.
