To create a load balancer:
Go to Load balancers and click Create.
Select region.
Select configuration if available. The configuration with 2 nodes includes a replica of your load balancer to ensure fault tolerance.

Configure network settings: a public IP and a private network. For both, you can create a new one or select an existing one (should be created in the same region as the load balancer).
When creating a new network, set the IP address range for it.

Specify basic settings for the load balancer.
Add servers to the balancing. You can add both Hostman and third-party servers. You can select a server from the drop-down list or enter an IP address.
You will be able to add and remove servers later on, when the load balancer already exists.
Set forwarding rules. At least one forwarding rule must be specified. This will be enough to launch the load balancer.
You need to specify the protocol and port for the server and for the balancer. Available protocols: HTTP, HTTP2, HTTPS, TCP. Each protocol will default to a standard port, but you can change this value to your liking.
The specified parameters will be applied to all servers in the balancing.
When setting up HTTPS, you must use TCP and port 443. If you are using Cloudflare, you must use only TCP as the source and destination protocols. Learn more about setup.
You will be able to edit the list of servers, forwarding rules and advanced settings even after the load balance has been created.
