Deploy a Quarkus App

Application Build

Hostman uses the following environment to build a Quarkus application:

  • Java 8, 11, 17, 18, 19, 21, or 25 (you can choose the version when creating the app)
  • Maven

The default build command is:

mvn clean package

The default start command is:

java -jar quarkus-run.jar

Requirements

  • Make sure your project has a pom.xml file with the correct Quarkus dependencies and build settings.
  • Make sure the Java version you select is compatible with your project and your version of Quarkus.
  • Make sure the application listens on 0.0.0.0 rather than 127.0.0.1; otherwise, external connections will not work.
