Deploy a Micronaut App

Hostman builds your app in the following environment:

  • Java: versions 8, 11, 17, 18, 19, 21, and 25 are available when you create an app.
  • Maven: used to build your app and manage dependencies.

By default, App Platform builds your app with this command:

mvn clean package

The default start command is:

java -jar app.jar

  • Make sure your project has a pom.xml file with the correct Micronaut dependencies and build settings.
  • Make sure the Java version you select is compatible with your project and your version of Micronaut.
  • Make sure your app listens on 0.0.0.0, not 127.0.0.1. Otherwise, external connections won't work.
