It's been a while since we've had any Firewall news, so it's time for an update!
Check out the new UX features that speed up the process of creating firewall rules:
- Rule type selection: Now there's a drop-down list with rule types like TCP, UDP, ICMP, SSH, HTTP, HTTPS, MySQL, and SMTP. Selecting one of these will automatically fill in the protocol and port fields.
- One-click IP entry: Easily add all possible IPs or your current computer's IP to a rule with just one click.
- Port range: Instead of entering each port individually, you can now specify a range. For example: 2967-3036.
- When entering an IPv4 address, you no longer need to include the mask /32.
Currently, you can only create rules to allow traffic; blacklists are not available yet. However, we're already working on it!
