WordPress is one of the most popular open-source content management systems (CMS) in the world. Originally created as a blogging platform, WordPress now powers over 40% of the web, supporting e-commerce, portfolios, corporate websites, and much more.
It offers thousands of customizable themes, plugins, and an intuitive interface, making it ideal for both beginners and experts. WordPress is free, with optional paid features available.
When selecting the WordPress image, we will set up a LAMP stack on your server and deploy a WordPress installation.

We will configure an Nginx virtual host at /etc/nginx/conf.d/wordpress.conf
and install the database and WordPress in /var/www/html/wordpress
.
To host your WordPress website on Hostman:
Start creating a new Hostman server or reinstalling an existing one and select Marketplace → WordPress.
Select server parameters. WordPress can run on a server with the minimum configuration. If your project needs more resources, you can upgrade the configuration at any moment.
Finish creating your server.
Your WordPress instance will be deployed in a couple of minutes.
Once the server status changes to online
, you can navigate to http://your-server-ip/
in your browser to complete the WordPress configuration.
