NextCloud

NextCloud is suitable for businesses and individuals alike, offering extensive features for collaborative work, such as document editing, calendar syncing, and video calls. Additionally, it supports numerous plugins, enabling you to customize it to fit your specific needs.

Software

Selecting the NextCloud image in the Hostman Marketplace will install on your server:

• Ubuntu 22.04
• The latest version of NextCloud 

Getting Started

To deploy your NextCloud instance:

1. Start creating a new Hostman server or reinstalling an existing one and select Marketplace → NextCloud.
2. Select server parameters. NextCloud can run on the minimum configuration. You might need more resources depending on the number of users. In that case, you can always upgrade the configuration.
3. Finish creating your server and wait for installation to complete.

You can now access NextCloud by navigating to http://your_server_ip in the browser and perform its basic setup.

Note that it may take a couple of minutes for NextCloud to be fully deployed. If it’s not immediately available on your IP address, please wait a bit and try again.

On your first visit, you will be prompted to create an admin account. Enter your username and password and click Install.

Next, NextCloud will suggest recommended apps such as Calendar, Notes, Contacts, etc. Select those you need and click Install recommended apps. You can always add or remove apps later.

Now you’re ready to start using NextCloud!
