To perform certain operations on the server, such as resetting the root password from within the OS or partitioning the disk, you will need to boot the OS in a specific mode.

To change the system boot mode:

Go to Cloud servers and click on the server.
In the Access tab, click Change next to OS boot mode:

Select the boot mode and click Save and Reboot.
