WeKan is suitable for personal projects and to-do lists, as well as for collaboration with teams. As a self-hosted solution, WeKan ensures that you have full control of your data.

When selecting the WeKan image in the Hostman Marketplace, we will install Ubuntu 22.04 on your server, deploy Docker and launch WeKan in a Docker container. 

The latest versions of the following software will be installed:

  • Docker
  • Docker Compose Plugin
  • WeKan

To set up your WeKan app:

  1. Start creating a new Hostman server and select MarketplaceWekan.
  2. Select server parameters. The minimum configuration is sufficient to run WeKan. Further on, if necessary, you can always upgrade your server.
  3. Finish creating your server.

When the installation is complete, the server status will change to Online. Copy the public IP address from the Dashboard page and visit it in your browser. 

You will see a sign-in page. Click Register to create a new account and log in into your WeKan instance.
