OpenProject
OpenProject is an open-source, web-based project management software that helps you to track and manage projects throughout their lifestyle—from planning to execution to completion.
OpenProject offers extensive functionality, including features like project timeline management, task tracking, time tracking, report generation, and project data visualization. It supports Scrum and Kanban workflows, as well as custom workflows that can be tailored to your project’s needs.
OpenProject is widely used in various industries, including IT, construction, healthcare, and education.

Getting Started
- Start creating a new Hostman server and select Marketplace → OpenProject.
- Select server parameters. The official documentation recommends using at least 4 CPU cores and 4 GB RAM. However, an OpenProject instance will still run with 2 CPU cores. You can start with this configuration and then upgrade your server, when necessary.
- Finish creating your server.
The installation and setup will take a few minutes. When the server is online, copy its public IP address from the Dashboard and navigate to it in the browser. You will see the OpenProject welcome page. Following the provided links and instructions, you can start a demo project, a Scrum project, or jump directly to a new blank project to set it up as you wish.
