You can add services to the firewall both when it is created and later, when the firewall already exists.

> [!NOTE]
> You can add a service to an allowing rule group only if it is not added to a prohibiting rule group, and vice versa.

A service can be simultaneously added to several groups of rules of the same type (allowing or denying).

## Add Services in the Firewall Section

When creating a [cloud firewall](https://hostman.com/cloud-firewall/):

1. Click **Select a service** in the **Connect to services** block.
2. Select the ones you need.

When editing an existing firewall:

1. Go to the **Networks** → **Firewall** section.
2. Click on the rule group.
3. Go to the **Servers** tab and click **Add**.
4. In the window that opens, select the necessary services and save the changes.

## Add Services from the Service Page

You can add a service to the firewall from the service page itself.

1. Open the service in your dashboard and go to the **Network** tab.
2. In the **Firewall** block, click **Configure**.
3. Select the rule group and click **Save**.
