You can manage the [server](https://hostman.com/cloud-server/)’s network settings in the **Network** tab.

## Private networks

You can add, transfer and remove servers from [private networks](https://hostman.com/docs/vpc/).

**To add the server to a private network:**

1. Go to **Cloud Servers** and click on the server.

2. In the **Network** tab, click **Configure** next to **Private network**.

3. Select an existing network or the **Add network** option to create a new one.

4. Click **Transfer**.

Moving the server to another network will take some time; normally, moving 10 GB takes about one minute.

During the transfer, the server will be on and then rebooted when the transfer is complete. Total downtime will be 5-10 minutes.

The server’s public IP address may be changed.

**To remove the server from the private network:**

1. Go to **Cloud Servers** and click on the server.

2. In the **Network** tab, click **Configure** next to **Private network**.

3. Click **Exclude from private network** and confirm.

## Traffic Routing Rules

If the server is added to a VPC, you can manage the [traffic routing rules](https://hostman.com/docs/vpc/nat/#traffic-routing-rules).

1. Go to **Cloud Servers** and click on the server.

2. In the **Network** tab, click **Configure** next to **Traffic routing rules (NAT)**.

3. Select a new routing rule and save the changes.
