You can find the step-by-step deployment guide [here](https://hostman.com/docs/app-platform/backend-apps/).

## Application Build

Hostman uses the following environment to build a Quarkus application:

-   Java 8, 11, 17, 18, 19, 21, or 25 (you can choose the version when creating the app)
-   Maven

The default build command is:

```shell
mvn clean package
```

The default start command is:

```shell
java -jar quarkus-run.jar
```

## Requirements

- Make sure your project has a `pom.xml` file with the correct Quarkus dependencies and build settings.
- Make sure the Java version you select is compatible with your project and your version of Quarkus.
- Make sure the application listens on `0.0.0.0` rather than `127.0.0.1`; otherwise, external connections will not work.
