You can find the step-by-step deployment guide [here](https://hostman.com/docs/app-platform/backend-apps/).

## Application Build

Hostman builds your app in the following environment:

- Go: versions 1.25, 1.24, 1.23, and 1.22.1 are available when you create an app.
- Go Modules: used to manage dependencies.

By default, Hostman downloads dependencies with Go Modules based on your `go.mod` file. It then builds your app with this command:

```shell
go build -o main .
```

The command compiles the package in the current directory into an executable named `main`.

The default start command is:

```shell
./main
```

## Requirements

- Make sure the build directory contains a `go.mod` file that lists Fiber and your other dependencies.
- Make sure the build directory contains a `main` package with a `main()` function that starts your server.
- Make sure your app listens on `0.0.0.0`, not `127.0.0.1`. Otherwise, external connections won't work.
