You can find the step-by-step deployment guide [here](https://hostman.com/docs/app-platform/backend-apps/).

## Application Build

Hostman uses the following environment to build an Echo application:

- Go 1.22.1, 1.23, 1.24, or 1.25 (you can choose the version when creating the app)
-   Go Modules

By default, Hostman downloads dependencies with Go Modules based on your go.mod file. It then builds the application with the following command:

```shell
go build -o main .
```

This command compiles the package in the current directory into an executable named `main`.

The default start command is:

```shell
./main
```

## Requirements

- Make sure the build directory contains a `go.mod` file that lists Echo and all other dependencies your project needs.
- Make sure the build directory contains a `main` package with a `main()` function that starts the application server.
- Make sure the application listens on `0.0.0.0` rather than `127.0.0.1`; otherwise, external connections will not work.
