AI agents use a pay-as-you-go pricing model. All newly created agents are billed using this model.

Package-based pricing is available only for a limited number of agents created shortly after the service launch.

## Pay-as-you-go Pricing

Agents are billed at $0.10 per month, while token usage is charged separately on a pay-as-you-go basis. Input and output tokens are billed independently at different rates.

Current pricing is available in the dashboard

Charges are deducted from your account balance once per hour. You can also [configure token usage limits](https://hostman.com/docs/ai-agents/pricing/token-usage-limit/) to control spending.

## Package-based Pricing

> [!NOTE]
> Creating new agents with package-based pricing is not possible.

With package-based pricing, an agent is assigned a monthly token package selected by you.

The subscription renews automatically once per month with a single charge, and the same token package becomes available again. Any unused tokens expire at the end of the billing period.

You can [upgrade your plan](https://hostman.com/docs/ai-agents/pricing/change-plan/) at any time, but downgrades are not available.

If your token limit is reached, you can either switch to a higher plan or [purchase an additional token package](https://hostman.com/docs/ai-agents/pricing/buy-tokens/) valid until the end of the current billing period (you can check the renewal date in **Billing** → **Billing history**).
